Books

My goal is to read 52 books before the end of 2012~

1. The Ranger's Apprentice Book 8 - Kings of Clonmel by John Flanagan
I love the series and have become very attached to the charactars.  There were some slow parts but I do not regret reading this book.  I enjoyed it.  Will and Horace have grown on me as well as the gruff and grouchy ranger, Halt.

2. The Giver by Lois Lowry
I read this book in four hours and I am very glad that I did.  In fact, I'd read it again.  Deserving of a sequel. :)  This story is based in a secluded part of the world where control is maintained to save the human race from its own stupidity.

3. Attic Clowns by Jeremy Shipp

Classified as horror, this book made me think and didn't scare me so much.  I saw the characters and situations as metaphors.  Please write to Jeremy Shipp and ask him to write a book about Globcow, the toenail eating demon.  Each chapter was a short story.  Each story had a main character and also a clown.  I found it fascinating and enjoyable!  If you scare easy this may not be for you, or try reading it in the daylight with someone in the room.  I loved this book!

4. Always Remember to Tip Your Ninja by Jeremy Shipp

A very entertaining book of quotes!  I am becoming a fan of Jeremy Shipp.  No, wait...I already am.

You can purchase these books here at my Amazon store.
